This is a mod blurt probably not relevant to most fedizens who are content with where they are.
But for my colleagues who swap notes and cheat sheets on managing inter-instance or cross-protocol frictions, Laurens Hof's "Connected Places" this week was a complete banger. Worth reading for a little more understanding on why we pretty much can never sort governance out to everyone's liking. The Purpose of a System is What It Does, not what you *meant* it to do.
