@Terry@poa.st No? Most farmers farm about 500 acres (sometimes more, sometimes less) if its a family farm, if its some guy who runs it like an LLC, he might farm 1,000 or 3,000 acres with several guys working under him
You can't actually farm 5-10 acres. A combine costs (new) 1 million dollars, a tractor (new) costs 500,000 dollars, you have a sprayer, a planter, something to plow the fields before the planter, you have trucks to collect produce from the combine, etc.
You can't service all that equipment or even buy it in the first place off the profits of 5-10 acres.
